Fake ASP held in capital

DHAKA: Mirpur Model thana police Wednesday detained a fake police officer in the capital.

Mirpur police said Rajib Chowdhury, has been cheating commoners for long with fake identity of an Assistant Police Super of Special Branch.

Police caught him from Kalyanpur area at 2pm Wednesday.

A case was filed with Mirpur police station in this connection.
