DHAKA: Recruitment of 32,000 teachers for government primary schools will be completed by this month.  

Besides, appointment of additional 20,000 part-time teachers in the primary schools were under process, the 18th meeting of Standing Committee on Planning Ministry was told on Thursday.

The meeting, held at Jatiya Sangshad Bhaban also discussed the projects, which are being implemented under education, primary and mass education, power, energy and mineral resources and religious affairs ministries.

Members of the standing committee Hamida Banu Shova, Reza Ali, Azizul Haq Chowdhury and ANM Shamsul Islam attended the meeting with its chairman Dr Oli Ahmad Bir Bikram in the chair.
