Two killed in Gopalganj road crashes

GOPALGANJ: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Sadar upazilla Tuesday.

One of the dead was identified as Dipak Bala, 60, a shopkeeper who hailed from Satpar village.

Sadar thana Officer-in-Charge Borhan Uddin told banglanews24.com.bd a pick-up van ploughed through a roadside tea stall at Satpar at about 7am, killing Dipak on the spot.

In another accident, a truck smashed a motorcycle near Haridaspur bridge on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway at about 9:30am, killing an unknown bike rider on the spot.
 
Another rider was rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
