Two bullet riddled bodies found in Natore

NATORE: Police recovered two unidentified bullet riddled bodies Tuesday morning from Sherkol Shahibazar area of Singra upazila in the district.

Adesh Ali, Sherkol UP chairman told banglanews24.com.bd that the locals informed the police after they found two unidentified bodies early inside Natore-Bogra Highway near Shahibazar at Singra upazila.

Adesh Ali said, “The deceased were at least 35 years old and were shot from behind.”

Police recovered few slips written ‘East Bangla Communist Party (Red Flag)’ and a mobile set from the spot.

Local sources claimed that the two deceased were Shawn from Dhaka and Ibal alias Faul Shujon from Pabna and that both were cadres.

Abul Kalam Azad, OC of Singra Thana suspects that the miscreants killed them elsewhere and left the bodies here.

Other local sources said 10-12 people dressed in white, identifying themselves as administration officers, took Shawn and Iqbal alias Faul Shujon from district Jubo League leader and rice trader Ahia Chawdhury’s home late night on August 11.

Police and RAB personnel, however, says that this incident is not liked with the killings.
