DHAKA: An unidentified man was killed in a road mishap in the city’s Sayedabad area early Thursday.

Jatrabari thana operation officer SI Mosharraf Hossain told banglanews24.com.bd that a recklessly driven vehicle ran over the man while crossing the road near Sayedabad Bridge at about 1 am.

The man wearing lungi and white shirt was aged about 40.

Police recovered the body and sent to Mitford Hospital for autopsy.

An UD (unnatural death) case was filed with Jatrabari thana in this connection.
