DHAKA: The government on Thursday made some changes in the public administration.

The Establishment Ministry issued several notifications on the changes.

According to the notifications, the government made changes in the positions of several Upazila Nirbahi Officers.

Besides, a Deputy Secretary was transferred, a Senior Assistant Secretary was made OSD and the contract for an engineer has been extended.

Deputy Secretary of Finance Department Syed Ahsanul Karim was transferred to BCS Administration Academy as its Director.

Deputy Director of BCS Administration Academy Shamima Nasrin was transferred to Establishment Ministry.

The contract for chief engineer of the Education Engineering department Mizanul Karim has been extended for a year.

Among the Upazila Nirbahi Officers, AMM Tariqul Islam of Monirampur of Jessore was transferred to Kolaroa and SM Tariqul Islam of Magura Sadar was transferred to Nagarkanda of Faridpur.  

Besides, Mokhlesur Rahman of Nagarkanda was transferred to Magura Sadar while Gazi Md Asaduzzaman Kabir of Kolaroa, Satkhira was transferred to Louhajang of Munsiganj.

Md Ashraful Islam, UNO of Louhajang was transferred to Kachua upazila in Bagerhat.
