DHAKA: A number of officials of Joint and Deputy Secretaries level have been given transfers and postings in a latest round of reshuffle in the administration.

The Establishment Ministry issued separate notifications Wednesday to this effect.

According to the notifications, Joint Secretary AKM Mahbub Alam, member of Civil Aviation Authority, was made project director of ‘Construction of 0.84 Lakh MT Capacity Newfood Godowns with Ancillary Facilities at Halishahar CSD Compound, Chittagong’ under Food department.

Joint Secretary Jogadish Roy, member of Hindu Religion Welfare Trust posted as member of Civil Aviation Authority, OSD Joint Secretary Shamsuzzaman was transferred at Sheikh Jayed Bin Sultan Al Nahian Trust of Banladesh under Social Welfare Ministry.

Besides, OSD Joint Secretary Dr Md. Delwar Hossain Khan was made project director of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Begum Memorial Specialised Nursing Hospital and College construction project.

Joint Secretary Qaumrul Haque, in Establishment Ministry, was posted as member of Mongla Port Authority; OSD Joint Secretary Manobendra Bhoumik was made Director General of Bangladesh Petroleum Institute.

Shyamapada Dey, former Additional Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong, was appointed Member of Bangladesh Tant Board and NNP Director Basu Dev Acharji was made OSD.
           
On the other hand, Deputy Secretary Md Quamal Uddin, Member of Rajshahi Silk Board, was posted Project Director of Pabna Textile Institute Upgrading Project.

Deputy Secretary M Abul Qashem Masud, posted at Establishment Ministry, was made Director of STRC, Bogra Zonal Settlement Officer Swapon Chandra Paul was transferred as Director in the same office and Deputy Secretary Md Monjur Morshed, posted Establishment Ministry, was posted as Economic Adviser of SPARSO.

Besides, OSD Senior Assistant Secretary Jalal Uddin Ahmed was appointed Second Secretary of National Revenue Board (NBR).
